Convert and schedule in four steps
- Make a carousel and export its publishing images, or open an existing photo carousel in Posts.
- Choose Make a short video. Select 1 to 10 seconds per slide and check the total duration.
- Start conversion. Posts shows preparation status and any failure that needs attention. Open the completed draft and play the MP4.
- Review the TikTok settings and schedule. Creating or converting a draft does not consume a posting slot; scheduling it does.

With four slides and three seconds per slide, the exported video lasts twelve seconds. The editable carousel remains available, so you can publish the photo format separately. Scheduling both formats uses two of your ten monthly Free posts.

Create the carousel for freeAudio, duration, and storage
Carousel conversion produces a silent video. It does not add trending music or original generated footage. You can instead upload an MP4 with your own audio. MP4 uploads must be 3 seconds to 3 minutes and no more than 100 MB; TikTok may impose a shorter account-specific duration limit.
Generated media shares the existing 1 GB allowance. Free publishing files are retained for 48 hours after publication; Pro retains them for 30 days. Download a copy before cleanup if you need it.
Before you start
Can I convert a TikTok photo carousel to MP4 for free?
Yes. Open an exported photo carousel in Postnero, select Make a short video, choose the time per slide, and start conversion. Free includes this conversion and MP4 upload. The result is a separate silent video draft; nothing is automatically published.
Why does my converted video have no sound?
Postnero’s carousel conversion creates a silent video and does not add a music track. To publish a video with audio, prepare an MP4 with audio you have permission to use and upload it. Uploaded audio is preserved.
Will converting a carousel remove the original?
No. Conversion creates a separate MP4 render while retaining the original carousel project and slide order. You can continue editing the carousel or schedule the photo and video formats separately.
What should I do if conversion fails?
Read the job’s error in Posts. Check that the source render is still available, the duration is between 3 and 180 seconds, and generated-media storage has space. If an agent request times out, look up the existing job with the same request ID before creating another.
